The Origin of Love Part 1 💕

Ask yourself:

Have you really had an encounter?
Do you really know the Lord or does the Lord know you?

Read (John 3:16)

LOVE is the basis for our walk with God. The foundation of our walk with God is the foundation for the building and the governance of the kingdom of God, which is the purpose of God in our life.

No wonder the word “love” or the concept or the experience of love has been the most perverted and most misunderstood, in the entire world. If there is anything that has been misunderstood most is love. If there is anything that has been perverted most is love. You said this, anything that has been so misconstrued and twisted up is low.

That’s because it is the core of our life and purpose in and with God!

It was love that made God create us, it was love that made God make us in his to look like him.

Every parent of a child Wants to see themselves in the children and their children, right or wrong. Love is what brings life. Love is what created life!

Read (John 3:16, 1 John 4:8, 1 John 4:16, 1 John 4:10)

God is love! (1 John 4: 7-8)

Why did God create us in the first place?

  1. To please Him. (Philippians 2:13, Colossians 3:9, James 3:8-9, Matthew 5:48, Leviticus 19: 2 & 18
  2. For us to have dominion (Psalm 104:30, Hebrews 1:2, Hebrews 11:3)

What does dominion mean?

Rulership over a space or domain, an area with everything that is within that ar1ea or domain

When the British empire was expanding they would go and conquer a domain. They ruled over Africa then went over to Australia the crossed the seas to rule over Canada. That was dominion taking place.

God created every domain, but he’s given us the opportunity to rule over the domain where he has kept us. So to have dominion is to be like Him who rules over domains.

We are called to rule in righteousness!

Let’s Read (Psalm 104:30, Hebrews 1:2, & Hebrews 11:3)

If we don’t understand WHY He created us, we cannot operate. If you don’t know the policies and procedures of the agency where you work, you can’t operate.

Now that we know why God created us, where do we start?

  1. Seek Him (1 Corinthians 6:11, Isaiah 55:6)
  2. Know Him (Daniel 1:42)
  3. Love Him (Deuteronomy 13:3, Matthew 22:37, Luke 10:27, Deuteronomy 6:5, Leviticus 19:18)
  4. Know He is the one that helps (Philippians 2:13)
